         | Rachel, Hannah and Dad got to go to Germany this fall (October 2004). The trip started out
poorly when we got to Milan, Italy and all the flights were cancelled. We eventually convinced the airlines that we needed a place to stay
so they put us up in this beautiful castle like place at the top of a hill overlooking the city of Varese. We had a blast.
Afterwards, we visited an old German village, the Stuttgart Zoo, a castle, an amusement park and lots of other places. The girls' favorite place was the AquaSol - we went to two different ones. They're basically indoor water parks with slides and wave pools. They have heated outdoor pools that you can swim to even in the rain and snow. It was very cool.
