| Hannah is unlike any other
daughter we have. She
is far more sensitive, more aware and takes more notice of her
surroundings than any of her siblings. She is very into fashion and is consequently, very picky about her wardrobe. She is one of the better cooks of the family as well - cooking frequently for the local Loaves and Fishes program. She, like her older sister, is very musical. She sings in a choir at church and was a member of Springfield Symphony Youth Orchestra where she played the viola. She had to leave the orchestra to allow time for her freshman year at High School, where she took all honors, joined the adult choir at Church, and joined some afterschool clubs.
Hannah has become very involved in our Church. Last year she received her Confirmation and was touched deeply by the process. Not only did she continue her Loaves and Fishes cooking, she also became a liturgist and was elected to the Board of Deacons at Church. Hannah had a once in a lifetime opportunity while finishing up 8th grade at our middle school. Williams Middle School has a very unique and always talented audition singing group called 7:45, for the time they have to practice before school. Last year this chorus was selected by the Boston Red Sox to sing the National Anthem before a game in June. The video is located here and on the video page of this site. What a wonderful, awesome chance for the kids. It was something we won’t ever forget. We were able to take some of the older siblings, her grandfather, and her “godfather” with his daughter to see them sing. She is at the top of all of her classes and works very hard at school. She helps out around the house with the laundry and raking the leaves. She is a lovely daughter. Hannah also loves to travel having been to Europe several times and most recently, she went with her sister Rachel and her grandparents on a cruise to Alaska. This year Hannah will stay a little closer to home with her travels, and will be going away with our Church and the SENIOR YES, (youth encountering sprit) to gleen corn and learn about hunger in the US working with Harvest of Hope in Viginia.
