Joshua is often known simply as "The Boy". As the only boy in a house full of sisters, Josh really stands out. He is a hyper-active, crazy kid (wonder where he gets that from). He is big into Star Wars and Pokemon. He also loves anything lego and is a big fan of puzzles. He is going to be entering the 5th grade at Blueberry Hill elementary in the fall. The new school year will start with him being a safety for the school. They “empower” the selected 5th graders to help with the morning drop off and pick up, which can get hairy at times. They are in charge of traffic control, biking on the grass and your normal elementary behavior.
Josh tried soccer for the first time this past fall and had a great time. He learned he likes sports, loves to run and wants to train with his Momma and me to run a road race through Forest Park in December, called the Bright Nights race, which we do like to run. It is run in the park under all the Christmas lights and is quite impressive to see.
Even though he's grown up in a house fill of girls, he instinctively enjoys trucks, guns, wrestling, etc. He's a bit of a Momma's boy but prefers his father when it comes to rough housing. He's quiet and well behaved in school and then comes home and lets loose all the energy he's been controlling all day. He takes great joy in making his sister Gracie mad but gets along very well with everyone else. Josh is a wonderful boy.
