Mykonos The island of Mykonos was a beautiful little island with narrow, winding alleys that you could easily get lost
in for hours. The buildings were stark white with tons of flowers everywhere. We hiked all over the island including a walk up to the old windmills. The windmills had these ropes connecting the individual
panels of the windmill so I tried hanging on the ropes in order to try and spin the windmill panes. Sure enough, I was able to pull the windmill around using my body weight but soon discovered that noone had touched
these ropes in about a century and they were absolutely filthy. My hands were covered in black, greasy grime. I tried washing my hands off in the ocean but caught an unexpected wave and soaked my shoes. It was
pretty funny.
After walking all morning and shopping, we went back to the ship for some hot tubbing. We returned in the evening to have some beers and watch the sunset from a secluded beach wall on the ocean.
